![]() ![]() The people at that site were very rude, loud and petty. At the client site they were very hostile and disrespectful. When I got to the client site I pretty much was thrown in hell fire. So I didn't even know what to expect or who I would be working with and the culture. I was just hired and sent over to the client. I was never provided the necessary information about the role or even interviewed with the client before hand. I was hired to work for one of their clients. The general feeling is that they are working "alongside" you while also running the company.įig Leaf, as a company, is really good at acquiring work and making sure there is enough to keep employees occupied and prevent having to do layoffs etc. The owners have strong technical backgrounds and regularly help out employees who run into technical challenges. It's been a win-win relationship and it's rare to find a company that will help you pursue your own personal goals as they will. It's now been several years that I've been able to work on my business and get it off the ground while taking occasional contracting work via Fig Leaf. They worked with me to transition to working only part time so that I could pursue it. FIg Leaf worked with me to find another client that was a better fit, and I ended up becoming a very happy worker.Īfter working full time for a while, I mentioned to the owners of Fig Leaf that I had interest in ultimately starting my own business. ![]() The first client I worked with proved not to be a great fit for me. ![]()
